To me having self reliance is super important. My mindset has always been to stick to my own head to make decisions not somebody else's. I've always thought I shouldn't depend on others nor be a follower. I think only mentally weak people are followers because they can't decide for themselves. People like this tend to lack confidence and often blame others for their failure.

A week after several wildfires ignited in Northern California, firefighters are making progress toward containing the massive blazes that have killed at least 40 people and burned about 5,700 structures. Another natural disaster has hit our state. A fire has been vanishing people's dreams and homes. If something like this were to occur in my city I wouldn't know what to do. I'd be so scared and torn because everything my family has worked for would be lost, but as long as we survive I think that's all that would matter.

What happened in vegas last week was a haunting tragedy. The problem was that any ordinary person can buy guns and there has to be more regulation. This 64 year old had completely no idea what he did to the nation because it affected everybody. After this I hope guns are more regulated and people are punished hard if they use it to threaten or injure any other human.

My goal in this class is to get an A in this class or at least a B. My goal is this because I want to strengthen my GPA as much as possible. Right now I'm trying to help my grades in all my classes. I know it won't be as easy as I hope it'll but I will push myself.
