Great gatsby intro/first impressions

Nick is a young man who moves to part of Long Island called, West Egg. Surrounded by luxury and lavish things, he isn’t like his neighbors. He is originally from
Minnesota. West Egg is home for the “new rich” people who recently made their way to a good lifestyle.

Baca poem

My opinion on this poem is that the way the author writes is really creative. He writes in a way that drags us to keep reading. He uses figurative language and has a good flow with his words. At first I was confused where the setting was but as I analyzed the words I figured he was a in a cell. He writes about his routines and how he has learned to accept his position in society. I think this power is really heart touching because some people in jail are there unfair.
